Archway's HOPE Program Confirms First Positive COVID-19 Case at Washington Township Facility

Today Archway received confirmation of a positive COVID-19 exposure at the HOPE Program at its Washington Township facility located in Sewell, New Jersey. The employee who tested positive is a partial care employee. Both partial care youth programs (HOPE/DISCOVER) will continue to take necessary precautions to prevent the introduction and spread of viruses and other germs. As a precautionary measure, the HOPE/DISCOVER programs will be temporarily closed effective today throughout the following week. The HOPE and DISCOVER programs will re-open on Monday, November 23rd, 2020.

Just Kids Confirms First Positive COVID-19 Case at Albert Bean Program

Today Archway received confirmation of a positive COVID-19 exposure at the Just Kids Before and After School Care Program at its Albert Bean Elementary School site located in Pine Hill, New Jersey. The employee who tested positive is a Childcare Provider at the Just Kids Albert Bean Program. Just Kids will continue to work with the school district to take necessary precautions to prevent the introduction and spread of viruses and other germs. As a precautionary measure, the Just Kids Albert Bean Program will be temporarily closed effective today throughout the following week. The Just Kids Albert Bean Program will re-open on Monday, November 9th, 2020.

Archway has developed a carefully thought-out plan for what to do in the event a student, client, resident, and/or staff member tests positive, and is now implementing that plan. As part of that plan, the Archway student who was confirmed positive, as well as others who may be positive based upon their exposure and symptoms, will complete a fourteen-day quarantine as of today and will need to be cleared by a medical professional prior to returning to Archway Programs. HOPE/DISCOVER Youth Programs Announce Reopening Date

Effective Monday, July 20th, HOPE/DISCOVER youth programs will reopen its doors and resume operations at Archway's Washington Township location. Up until this point, both programs have been temporarily closed due to the pandemic. The programs will operate on its summer schedule, from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Pick-up times could be as early as 11:00 a.m. Every child will be screened with three questions and a temperature check (before getting on the bus) each day of program. The Archway Schools: Extended School Year

The Governor has approved Extended School Year (ESY). Effective July 6th, the Archway Schools will be launching a hybrid ESY program including both in school and remote instruction for those who are not ready to send their child to the building. Your child's teacher will be reaching out to see if the decision you provided previously is still the same. We have CDC procedures in place upon returning to ESY. Your safety is our first priority. If your child has an underlying medical condition, he/she will need a doctor's note indicating that it's safe to return to the building. This year's ESY program begins July 6th, and will run through August 19th.

Just Kids Summer Camp (Barrington, Collingswood, Waterford)

Just Kids has been working diligently to navigate through these unprecedented times. This includes planning for summer camp. As an organization, we are committed to safety and quality of care.  After extensive review of the new guidelines, we   have made the very difficult decision to forgo camp this summer. The safety, logistical, and financial implications to operate were all taken into consideration when making this decision.

The Archway Schools: Main Campus Update  (Upper/Lower)

As of April 7th, the Archway Schools on the main campus (Upper/Lower), will be closed for the remainder of April. Spring Break begins this Friday (4/10) and runs through next week. Parents will receive more work for students either electronically or in the form of paper packets within the next few days.We will update parents and families towards the end of the month. Due to concerns regarding the outspread Coronavirus (COVID-19), Archway has decided to postpone the Annual Hands Around the Lake Walk for Autism Awareness scheduled for 4/29. Your health and safety is our top priority, which is why the decision was made to postpone the event until a further announced date.

Step by Step Program: Early Intervention Services Update 

As of April 1st, Archway's Step by Step Program has resumed early intervention services to children via telehealth. Archway has been working with the state and service coordination units to secure platforms to be ulitilized  to ensure that children’s services are not interrupted. With the use of telehealth we can still provide eligibility evaluations, assessments and weekly sessions dictated by IFSPs. If you suspect that an infant or toddler may be experiencing developmental delays, contact EIS at 888.653.4463.

The Archway School at Cooper's Poynt Update (Camden)

Following Governor’s stay at home order, the Archway School at Cooper's Poynt will remain closed indefinitely until the stay at home order is lifted. Students have been provided with remote learning materials up to spring break week. If the school closure extends past this time, more work will be provided. The Archway Schools: Main Campus Update  (Upper/Lower)

Following the Governor’s mandate, everyone will be quarantined until Tuesday, April 7th. The Archway Schools (Upper/Lower) on the Main Campus in Atco, New Jersey, will not reopen on Monday, March 30th. All of our students have schoolwork to complete remotely through spring break which ends on April 20. We will update parents and families prior to April 7th once a decision has been made by state and health officials. Archway Programs is dedicated to educating students at our school, but first and foremost keeping them safe and in good health.

Blue Violet Updates Store Hours

Effective Wednesday, March 18th, the store hours for Blue Violet Flowers and Gifts will temporarily change (until further notice). Blue Violet will be open Monday through Friday from 10AM to 4PM.  Customers can still place orders online at www.bluevioletflowers.org.

Step by Step Program: Early Intervention Services Update 

Effective beginning at noon on March 17th, Archway's Step by Step Program (early intervention services), will be temporarily suspended. The Commissioner of the NJ Department of Health determined it necessary for the NJ Early Intervention System (NJEIS) to close services in response COVID-19 for a period of two weeks. The  NJDOH anticipates a return to operations March 31, 2020.

The Archway Schools -- Main Campus (Upper/Lower)

The Archway Schools (Upper/Lower) on the Main Campus in Atco, New Jersey, will temporarily close effective Tuesday, March 17th. Archway teachers and students will report to school on Monday  (3/16) to review remote learning materials. It is expected that the school be closed for two weeks (until 3/27). A reevaluation will be done after this time to see if it will be extended beyond the two weeks.

The Archway School at Cooper's Poynt  Closed for Two Weeks

Only teachers will return on Monday, March 16th to finish preparations of remote learning for a temporary two-week closure effective Wednesday, March 18th. Students are expected to report to school on Tuesday  (3/17)  so that teachers can go over materials with students prior to when  the break begins.

Just Kids Announces Temporary Closures at Several Locations

Effective March 16th, the following Just Kids sites have been temporarily closed for two weeks (until 3/27): Merchantville, Collingswood, Barrington, Oaklyn, Logan Township, Franklinville, and Parkview. Effective March 17th, the following Just Kids sites have been temporarily closed: National Park (until 3/27), Waterford (until 4/20), Magnolia (until 3/31), Pennsville (until 3/27) , and Pine Hill (until 3/27).
