13th Annual Career and Technical Education Luncheon
Before the end of the school-year Archway staff, students and local partnering businesses attended the annual Career and Technical Education Luncheon, hosted by the Archway Schools' Career Education Program. Archway Programs partners with local businesses to make the Career Center and the Career Education Program a place where students can become workplace ready. Working at places such as Virtua Hospital, students gain “hands-on” experience and confidence in the workplace interacting with customers, developing a strong work ethic and learning new responsibilities. We would like to give a special shout out to Virtua, TD Bank, Modell's, Discount Decorative Flags, Nutri-Serve, Step by Step, and Blue Violet Flowers and Gifts for attending this year's event.
THANK YOU to all of our supporting corporate business sponsors for believing in our students and supporting Archway's Career Education Program! You are making a difference in the lives of so many individuals.
Our Careers staff works extremely hard to provide unlimited support and direction to our students - thank you for continuing to do an amazing job helping out students grow. Congratulations to our Archway School students for all of your hard work this year, we are incredibly proud of you! Keep up the good work! #ArchwayProud
What is the Career Education Program?
Archway's Career Education Program combines school and community-based learning to empower an often times stigmatized population of students to help develop positive work attitudes, essential job skills and prepare for the school-to-work transition. The program features an on-campus Career Center and several on-campus and off-campus opportunities for students ages 14-21 of all abilities. Click here to learn more.
